Gordon Lightfoot, If I Could
Well, comm was exceptionally pointless today. The other half of the class was giving speeches, and I was supposed to be taking notes. Urk.
I went to lunch again today, and the food was awful again today. You'd think I'd catch on one of these days.
Turned in my stuff to live in my same dorm next year. I still don't know if I have a single or not. I really hope I do, because I can't study worth a damn if I have a roommate.
Then I decided that I wanted a certain Elizabeth Moon book. Since philosophy was cancelled today, I took off in my car to go look for it. I gave up 4 or 5 book stores later. Grr. I'll look more this weekend. Eventually, I'll find a copy. I'm good at that. I bought 3 other books though...I'm good at that, too.
Then I came back and went to choir. It wasn't too bad. I still don't like "Bassmaster", but I'll live. We're performing it tomorrow. Urk.
Then Jessica and I went and grabbed various permutations of dinner. I got nachos at 7Eleven and she got some kind of shrimp dish at Norm's Garden. Then we came back to the dorms and ate. Io showed up with some odd thing or other, looked to have a salad and a pita involved. So it was an interesting lounge dining experience. Then we decided to rent a movie. But then Jeff and Jessie showed up and Io went off to a meeting, so the movie plan got put on hold. We went to get one eventually, at least Jessica, Io, Joey and I did. Rented Newsies and Cannibal: The Musical.
Then Jessica, Jeff, Toni, Joey, Io and I all watched Newsies. I wasn't overfond of it, but it wasn't so horrid that I had to leave either. Then we decided to watch Velvet Goldmine (which Toni had rented at some earlier point) instead of Cannibal. Ah well. So everyone but me, Toni and Jeff left. Ah well. I think I really am on better terms with Jeff again. That's a good thing.
Then Sean was online when I got back to my room, so I got to talk to the sweeting for a little bit before he went to sleep. I miss him.
Now I'd damn well better get to sleep myself. I have school tomorrow. Yippee.
