Green leaves of summer turn red in the fall
To brown and to yellow they fade
And then they have to die
Trapped within the circle time parade
Of changes

Phil Ochs, Changes (as performed by Gordon Lightfoot)

Easter Sunday. Yippee.

Dad came up to campus for finals brunch today. 'twas fun. I ate vast amounts of crab.

Then I spent time with mom and the grandparents. That went fairly well, although grandma was more into watching a basketball game than talking to us. My family's a little weird. Ah well.

Mom gave me a 200 minute phone card in my Easter basket. Yay! Now I can call Sean. I'll probably do that a little later this week. I might save it for when I'm down in the bay area, though. This week, I can still drive home and use my mom's cheaper long distance service, but starting next week I won't be able to do that.

Then I took off to dad's for a bit and did the Easter egg hunt thing over there as well. I now have enough candy to take care of my candy needs until at least Halloween. Yippee. Went back to mom's and dyed eggs.

Then we had a long talk about my going to the bay area. I really don't think she wants me to go. I think it's one of those things I should try doing though. Maybe I'll talk to Jessica again.

Oh, and I was accepted to a new mailing list today. It's called Paradys and it's a discussion of Tanith Lee books. Nice. I already sent out a dumbass-newbie post, we'll see how this goes.

I'm tired and going to bed. I have a final tomorrow.
