Chris is Chris and no one else is Chris quite the way Chris is Chris. That's the way I always try to explain him to others. An MLC friend that I met in middle school, he's probably the friend I talk to the most if I'm upset over something. He's also a computer geek, although he is a Mac user. He listens to ambient techno music, but I'll forgive him that, I suppose. We both have a tendancy to stay up until the wee hours on ICQ. He's responsible for getting me back into bowling and rollerskating. He's an Aquarius and I'm a Taurus, but we still get along just fine. He's probably the one of the people who knows the most about my life right now. I feel comfortable talking to him about almost anything, even things I'm not comfortable putting in this journal. If anyone knows all of my secrets, it would probably be Chris. There are things that he doesn't know, but they aren't things he's asked. He's the only high school friend that I really stay in touch with at this point. He's dating Kelly.

Ian. Urk. I had some sort of more-than-friendship something with him for a bit. We were never officially "dating", I don't think he really cared enough about me for that and I was scared to find out, but I sure as hell don't do stuff like that with all of my friends. I think it lasted a wee bit long to be a "fling", so only the gods know what to call what we had. Anyway, it's over now, I'm several points lower on the purity test, and he's now dating Jessica. Ain't life grand? Oh, he's also 22 (four years older than I am) and doesn't go to college with the rest of us. And he's one of Sean's friends. And he now lives in California. He's really turned his life around. I'm proud of him. We've basically gotten to the point where we're comfortable just being friends, which is nice.

Sean. Gods, how to explain Sean. I care a great deal about him. I'm quite likely in love with him. I think he cares about me. But we're not dating. He lives in Seattle, and we're not sure if it would work out even if he lived here. But we'd like to try, at least I would. So we're in this weird place where we both admit that we like each other, and we act like we're dating when we're together most of the time, but we;re not actually dating. Yay life. As for what he's actually like, I think I said it best once when I was trying to explain him to some people here at school: "Sean is The Great Blond Elf. He's a really nice guy, very intelligent, handsome and charismatic, just like an elf. Also much like an elf, he had no clue about human standards of morality and communications practices. But he means well." Although now I'd put it more kindly.
